Would like to suplement that for BEA 11X days, BEA CUP cap is at $5,555 per month as retail spending 2X existing that's part of the 11X. While for all other BEA cards, $5K per month is correct.  Of cos for other cards there are other conditions for dining etc which change the cap so the "?" is valid.

Hi percysmith, thanks for a very good post already.

May I suggest that for "other retail spending", to split the category between"online spending" versus "other retail spending"?  It's much easier to reference when making online purchases versus local retail merchant.

As well - any reason for not including the HSB world 15x online + overseas, 10x weekend dining for 5K monthly spend into the list?  I see HSB enjoy is included in some cat.  Thanks for your consideration.

Many thanks!

For those applicants who do not possess any Citic Card during the past 12 months:

E-banking bill payment: 0.55%

Auto-pay bill payment: 0.55% + 1.45%

According to T&C, if Citic strictly follows it and no amendment will be made:

If your card is issued in this month, the 2% reabte scheme will commence until 30th Novemeber 2019.

If there is any auto-pay bill payment transaction in November 2019, then the bouns 1.45% cash rebate of auot-pay bill payement spending will be debited on January 2020.

So decide whether to wait to unveil what will be offered by Citic in 2019, or apply the card to 'enjoy' the 2% spending rebate scheme at the last minute…

Speaking of autopay (to continue to earn Horoscope 1.5%), how many bill payment merchants accept credit card autopay?

Rates/Govt Rent/Water: no credit card autopay

Towngas: No ICBC; so Citi Cash Back 1% (why not Alipay on Simply Cash 1.5% instead?)

HKE: No ICBC; DBS 0.8% (why not Alipay on Simply Cash 1.5% instead?)

CLP: No ICBC; BEA 0.4% or Citi Cash Back 1%

Telcos: ICBC Horoscope 1.5% or Citi Rewards 2%

Insurance premiums: ICBC Horoscope 1.5% but your policy has to allow autopay

Other merchants like clubhouses: ICBC Horoscope 1.5% where autopay accepted

The policy to cut out 1.5% rebate for all bill-payment by ICBC, on the other hand, is an golden opportunity for ICBC Horoscope cardholder to review the way to pay bill. Maybe we should thanks ICBC, to a certain extent.
